A Brandy Manhattan is a Manhattan cocktail, substituting brandy for the whiskey. It is an American regional drink, most popular in the upper Midwestern states of Wisconsin and Minnesota. It is almost certainly influenced by the Brandy Old Fashioned, a cocktail unique to this region.
