Cheese log

A cheese log is an American appetizer dish made with a smooth spreadable cheese and seasoning paste (see pub cheese ) that has been coated with an accent ingredient such as nuts , herbs , dried fruit , or a mixture of these. It is essentially identical to a cheese ball except in shape.
