Labneh the name given to strained yogurt, also called Strained yogurt, in the Levant, Egypt, and the Arabian peninsula. It is used in many savory dishes and desserts, as a sandwich filling, or as a dip with za'atar.
In Jordan, labneh is used to make jameed, which is a key ingredient in mansaf.
